Checking Your I-94 After Arrival
Information about how to check your I-94 record after each arrival in the U.S.
About Your I-94 Arrival Record
The I-94 arrival record, or “I-94” for short, is an extremely important document, since it is your proof of lawful status in the U.S.
- You will receive a new I-94 after your first arrival, and after each return trip to the U.S. The I-94 should record your biographical and passport information, date of entry into the U.S., class of admission (visa type), and your “admit until” date. Check your I-94 for accuracy (read below for more information) and contact ISSS if you think your I-94 has any inaccuracies.
- You are required to print out your I-94 each time you arrive in the U.S. and carry the most recent copy with you at all times, even when traveling locally or domestically. You can print out a copy by going to CBP's I-94 lookup site.
