International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), under the Office of Global Engagement, serves as a central resource to Brown University's international students, scholars, faculty, researchers and their families. Our main roles include:

• Providing immigration and visa document services for our non-immigrant international students, scholars, employees and their dependents
• Advising international community members on relevant immigration rules, regulations, and policies applicable to their specific immigration status
• Monitoring any applicable changes to federal rules and regulations relating to non-immigrant visas
• Supporting the orientation, adjustment, and ongoing success of our students and scholars
• Advocating for international students and scholars consistent with the University's mission
