Disclaimer: To facilitate open discussion, recording of any kind by participants or attendees is prohibited. Additionally, we respectfully ask that members of the media or news organizations refrain from contacting attendees and speakers for quotes or information pertaining to this event. These sessions aim to inform and empower the Brown community by facilitating the sharing of resources and knowledge. Note that these sessions are open to Brown community members only. These sessions are being provided as guidance only and are not intended to provide legal advice for specific issues or instances. You are encouraged to contact an immigration attorney with specific questions.

The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) invites the Brown community to a timely briefing with immigration attorneys Megan Parker-Johnson and Prasant Desai from Iandoli Desai & Cronin P.C. Our guest experts will provide essential updates on recent policy changes, travel regulations, and your rights as international and non-U.S. citizen members of our community.

Key topics will include:

  • Recent federal immigration-related bans, suspensions, and their impact on immigrant and non-immigrant visa holders.
  • Navigating current travel restrictions, enhanced vetting procedures, and increased scrutiny at U.S. ports of entry.
  • A critical refresher on your legal protections and responsibilities.
  • A live opportunity to ask the experts your specific questions.

To ensure a candid and open environment, these sessions will not be recorded. Both webinars will cover the same content; please register for the time slot that best fits your schedule.
